This article reviews and highlights three great WordPress themes from MyThemeShop.com. A theme is used when building a WordPress website.
Note: There are many articles that review and talk about WordPress themes but there are only a few who are actually using the themes they talk about.
I am currently using the three themes I review below. So for me it’s not just talk, I have actually seen them in action.
MyThemeShop is a developer of WordPress themes and plugin products. They have become my favorite WordPress theme developer.
In fact, many of my personal and client’s websites are currently using MyThemeShop themes.

Building a WordPress Website
So you’ve decided to build a website for your business, family function or because you want a web presence.
You did your research and decided that out of all the different website building platforms you settled on a WordPress.
You’ve made a wise choice. WordPress is popular, safe, secure and easy to use.
What is WordPress?
WordPress is a content management (a.k.a. CMS) software program used to create websites. It is currently the leading choice for creating a website and managing site content (articles, images, videos and other documents).
Years ago, WordPress was used mainly to create blogging websites, but now WordPress is used to create all types of sites from e-commerce, business websites, directories, personal or portfolio sites, also non-profits, churches and more.
In fact WordPress can be used to create any type of site you can dream of.
Here is a short list of websites that run on some flavor of WordPress:
* Sony Music
* The New Yorker
* Beyonce… Yep even the Queen B!
What is a WordPress Theme?
A WordPress theme is the part of WordPress software that gives a WordPress website its look and feel. It is what makes your site look like a website.
A theme provides all the styling and visual design for your site. A theme is basically a collection of graphics, style-sheets and HTML and PHP code that handles what a WordPress website will look like.
Free WordPress Themes
There are hundreds of thousands of WordPress themes available. Many of them are free and can be downloaded with one click of a button.
The first place to look for free WordPress themes in my humble opinion is wordpress.org. They have one of the largest collections of themes on the web.
In fact, it’s the place that most developers place free versions of their premium (paid) themes. You can try out a free version of a developer’s theme and if you like it buy the paid version.
Do I Need a Premium WordPress Theme?
With so many free WordPress themes available, you might be wondering why you need to pay for a premium WordPress theme. Well premium themes generally give much greater flexibility when it comes to their design and features.
When you buy a premium theme, you get a WordPress theme that tends to be easier to use, has better features and comes with technical support.
From a design standpoint they allow you to use many more layouts than free themes. Usually the design changes can be achieved on the fly, with only a click of a button.
In addition, premium themes are feature-rich, allowing you to change colors, fonts, are SEO-optimized, among things. Last but not least they give you access to tech support.
Many theme companies will provide tech support for the theme you purchased, usually for at least a year.
They also have onsite forums where you can search and communicate with other theme owners who have had problems and worked with tech support to fix or develop a work around. Here is a great article on how to choose a WordPress theme.
Three Great WordPress Themes from MyThemeShop.com in Real Life
Note: In this section I have provided you with information about the best features and what makes these MyThemeShop themes stand out. What I have tried to avoid is repeating the same exact things that are available on the actual WordPress theme demo pages.
The Reactor Theme
One of the best things you can do for your website and your business is to ensure that visitors stay on your site and click through to make purchases of your products or services. One of the best WordPress themes (IMHO) is the Reactor theme.
The beauty of the Reactor theme is that it provides you with both an assortment of aesthetic options for your layout and optimized speed for quick loading. Both are essential for attracting new customers and keeping the interest of your target audience.
With improved loading times, you can ensure that your website’s visitors will click through to other pages of your site. This helps to increase your sales and create an atmosphere visitors want to frequent in the future.
You can also use drag and drop features to customize your layout. This is also helpful if you want to especially feature one of your products or services on your homepage.
Reactor theme is already set up with Rank Math SEO so you don’t have to worry about using other third-party SEO plugins.
It’s also translation-ready so that you can communicate with your customers worldwide with ease. With round-the-clock support, you’re never in the dark with any questions or concerns you may have.

The NewsOnline Theme
The NewsOnline theme is another one of my best WordPress themes because it delivers beautiful, glossy layouts that are presented in an authoritative manner. For example, this theme comes with a news ticker and serif headlines, which will help establish your site as an authority.
This is important because your readers will head to your site to get all of their news information, and it will help keep your readers regularly engaged and connected.
Readers tend to be loyal to sites that deliver factual information in a layout that is pleasing to the eye and that allows readers to access information easily. The special glossy look of this theme adds to the effect that will grab your readers’ eyes and keep them engaged.
The NewsOnline WordPress theme also has a very professional look, which helps to establish your website and your brand as an authoritative source. Special fonts can be used to fit any special niche, tone or style.
In addition, any special information you wish to add can be included in your featured section. This way, readers can access breaking news stories without you needing to move any of your other content.

The NewsPaper Theme
The NewsPaper theme is yet another one of the best WordPress themes you can choose. The Newspaper theme presents content-rich sites with a selection of layouts that allow you to present all of your stories in an easy-to-access format.
Keep your readers enticed by offering a layout that provides sections with trending pieces, media-rich features and by offering multiple post layouts according to your needs.
Use vivid images, special fonts and more to fully customize your readers’ experience. If you have questions or concerns, you can access customer service at any time.
If you regularly post blogs and other information on your site, MyThemeShop NewsPaper theme is an excellent option that will help to keep your readers engaged in your content.
NewsPaper theme is compatible with WP Review Pro plugin, which means you can include professional-looking reviews on your site that will also appear in Google searches. SEO optimization ensures that new readers can find your site.
This theme ensures your website will load quickly, which will help to deliver your informative content to your readers without much lag time. With a tabbed homepage layout, your readers will be able navigate your site quickly and seamlessly.
